New York City Ghostbusters are the largest 501(c)(3) Ghostbusters charity group in the Northeast. They proudly serve the five boroughs, and parts of New York State, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
The New York City Ghostbusters are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to sharing our fondness for the Ghostbusters franchise and doing a little good while we’re at it. We make in-uniform appearances at public and private events, offer themed activities like our signature slime lab, and lead filming location tours with our very own Ecto-1 in Manhattan. Through this work, our volunteer members raise money for the Trinity Place Shelter and other charity partners.

Garden State Comic Fest (GSCF) is a high-energy celebration of comics, cosplay, and pop culture, bringing together fans, artists, creators, and vendors for a weekend packed with panels, shopping, and fandom fun. From comic book legends to incredible cosplay showcases, GSCF is a hub for everything geek culture under one roof. The New York City Ghostbusters will be on site raising funds for charity with photo opportunities and our hands-on Slime Lab, adding a little extra proton-powered fun to the festivities.

Tikkun BBQ's Block Party

Come join the NYC Ghostbusters at Tikkun BBQ's Community Cookout Series! Food. Community. Cause. That’s the simplest way to describe Tikkun BBQ’s annual block party series, the Community Cookouts, held on 31st Ave Open Street in Astoria. With support from local businesses, elected officials, community organizations, mutual aid groups, and Astoria neighbors, Tikkun BBQ transforms the street into a free community gathering space centered around live-fire, Queens-style BBQ, music, film, art, and public service. From serving free BBQ and screening movies like Jaws on a giant outdoor screen, to hosting DJs, bands, artists, demos, and community activations, the goal is simple: bring people together and make the street feel alive. The series also supports causes beyond the block party itself—raising funds for mutual aid and humanitarian efforts while distributing public health resources such as Narcan kits and other community care items free of charge. NYC Ghostbusters will be there to support the cause and raise money for our main charity as well. Come visit us and join the community fun!
